ALL STAR RULES
Tournament Rules & Requirements
Good sportsmanship is
required by all GCD All Star Team members. Any member who exhibits inappropriate
behavior during the event will forfeit their position on the team and will be
held responsible for any and all fees or expenses that the Gold Coast Darters
deems appropriate
Eligibility Requirements
You must be a current Gold
Coast Darter member as of October 1, 2007, have played on a Monday, Tuesday or
Thursday league for 2007 and renew your membership ($20.00) paid in full by
January 31, 2008.
Team Requirements
The Team will consist of 10
women [(2) five person teams] and 20 men [(4) five person teams]
Team captains will be
appointed. Teams will be announced the morning of the event.
A non-refundable $35.00 per
person team fee will be required for all team members by February 11, 2008. If
your team fee is not paid you will forfeit your spot on the All Star Team.
All team members are
required to wear a team shirt on the day of the challenge provided by the GCD.
The Challenge
All team members are
required to check-in by 10:00 A.M. with the Top Dawg Challenge
starting at 11:00 AM. Estimated finish time 5:00 P.M.
Qualifying For The Team
The men's team will be
comprised of 20 Darters.
The women's team will be
comprised of 10 darters.
You can qualify by throwing
10 turns (30darts) for high score and 10 turns (30 darts) at designated
doubles. 30 points for each double hit. The total score for the 60 darts will
be your qualifying score for that tryout. You may qualify as many times as you
like.
Bounce-out darts can be
re-thrown. Darts that miss the target area cannot be re-thrown.
The cost to qualify is $4.00
per tryout or 3 tries for $10.00
